CETel, the Germany-based provider of managed end-to-end communications solutions, says it will deliver “fibre-like” connectivity into Africa utilising O3b’s medium Earth orbit satellite constellation.

Under a long-term contract signed last November, the company said it will support a “leading” communications and technology solutions provider to further expand its network across the continent.

The unnamed company will serve various vertical markets, such as mining, enterprise, construction, telecoms/ICT and government.
