This initiative supports Ethiopia’s "Digital Ethiopia 2025" strategy, a comprehensive plan aimed at fostering an inclusive and digitally empowered society. It also aligns with Ethio Telecom’s new three-year transformation strategy, "Next Horizon: Digital and Beyond 2028," which seeks to position the company as a provider of diversified digital services. The strategy emphasizes expanding into high-growth sectors such as fintech, e-commerce, cloud computing, and enterprise solutions for education and healthcare.
For Ethio Telecom, initiatives like this provide opportunities to accelerate digital transformation in education while strengthening its role in Ethiopia’s broader development agenda.
