The Benin Electronic Communications and Postal Regulatory Authority (ARCEP) has set the conditions governing the provision of electronic communications services from non-terrestrial networks such as satellites within the national territory. The new decision is part of ARCEP's mission to ensure market regulation. The government awarded an operating license to Starlink, which launched its commercial activities in the country in November 2023.
