This milestone signifies that France, Morocco, and Tunisia are now physically linked through the Medusa cable, substantially boosting digital connectivity across the Mediterranean region. With the final splice in place, the project moves from the installation phase into the final preparations for commercial service, bringing enhanced bandwidth and resilient connectivity to the area.
The successful completion reflects the collective efforts of all teams involved in the project, including Elettra TLC, whose contributions have been instrumental in advancing the cable toward operational readiness. This development marks a significant step toward strengthening regional digital infrastructure and fostering greater economic and social integration across the Mediterranean.
