Airtel Money has partnered with insurance provider Britam and InsurTech startup Inclusivity Solutions to provide insurance coverage to millions of Kenyans who cannot afford insurance.
Through this partnership, the parties hope to reach millions of Kenyans who lack access to formal insurance and provide them with protection against a variety of hazards that imperil their livelihoods and well-being, according to Evah Kimani, director of partnerships and digital at Britam.
"We are delighted to offer our customers insurance in partnership with Britam Kenya and Inclusivity Solutions. Airtel Money is being utilised to make the insurance industry more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly. This partnership aligns with our mission to extend financial inclusion and offer more affordable financial products and services to our customers,” said managing director of Airtel Money Kenya, Anne Kinuthia – Otieno.
