MTN Cameroon has officially launched Chenosis, a pan-African platform with a cross-industry API (Application Programming Interface) marketplace that allows developers, entrepreneurs, and enterprises to integrate into an expanding library of open APIs.
Chenosis gives access to a diverse range of API goods and services in telecoms, health, government, finance, entertainment, and other industries.
MTN launched the platform, which it hopes will become Africa's largest library of open APIs, to Cameroon's digital ecosystem stakeholders this week in the capital, Yaounde. Chenosis will provide a variety of technology options, allowing enterprises to create new applications with little or no code.
“Making life simpler for industries, developers, and SMEs through our marketplace is our mission,” said Yolanda Kope Mbalu, Chenosis' Go-to-market general manager.
The launch of Chenosis is part of the company’s commitment to offer digital and inclusive solutions for the progress of Cameroon.
