IHS Towers and WIOCC are in negotiations with the Lagos State government to complete the 6,000km fibre optic project.
Olatunbosun Alake, Lagos State Commissioner for Science and Technology, said the two companies will also extend the project to 36,000km. The target date for completion is 2027.
