The Binary Holdings (TBH), a leading Web3 company valued at $16.9 billion, has announced a strategic partnership with Nigeria-based digital payments platform PreponeBills operated by Kotzev Limited. This collaboration marks TBH’s significant entry into the African market, where Web3 adoption opportunities are rapidly growing.

The partnership aims to integrate Kotzev’s digital payment solutions with TBH’s extensive distribution network, currently reaching over 169 million users globally. This integration will enable consumers to perform secure, efficient, and blockchain-enabled transactions, transforming routine financial activities into opportunities for increased user engagement and loyalty.

TBH plans to leverage this partnership to accelerate the deployment of Web3 services across underserved regions in Africa and develop solutions tailored to local needs, promoting digital inclusion through blockchain technologies.

Siddharth Sahi, TBH co-founder, emphasized that acquiring a 33% stake in Kotzev allows the company to combine innovative solutions with its distribution infrastructure, creating a platform for decentralized financial services starting in Africa and expanding into other emerging markets.

Kotzev’s CEO Emmanuel Obi and COO Nnaeto Nwanisobi expressed enthusiasm about using TBH’s network to bring blockchain-powered financial solutions to everyday users, fostering a more inclusive and technologically advanced Africa.
