Minister Felix Mutati emphasised that the deployment focuses on connecting administrative and public-facing institutions where traditional internet infrastructure is challenging to establish. The government’s strategy highlights a commitment to bridging the digital divide, with significant investments directed at communication infrastructure and satellite technology to serve underserved and unserved areas.

The initiative reflects Zambia’s broader vision to harness satellite technology to ensure essential services are accessible to all citizens, regardless of their location
