Orange Madagascar will be helped by the possibilities offered by its new global license acquired in December 2023 for €30 million. The operator will be able to provide its services on all types of media, whether copper, radio, fibre or satellite.
The company has reinvested 400 ariarys for every 1,000 ariarys of revenue in its infrastructure over the last two years ‘without aid or subsidies,’ which has allowed it to increase the number of its technical sites by 60%, increase its transmission capacities and set up a new northern backbone.
“By developing telecommunications infrastructure, while democratizing access to high-speed Internet, Orange is significantly contributing to the development of economic and social activities in Madagascar,” said Debord.
